The history of Kale Yazısı Mosque that she heard was also interesting: The construction of the mosque was started in the year 1651 by Mehmet Ağa, and it was completed with the support of the people of Sinop in 1901. Kale Yazısı Mosque, which was also known as Mehmet Aga Mosque by Sinop residents, was a structure that reflected the typical Ottoman period with its wooden roof and rectangular plan. There were six tombs in the burial area in the southern side of the mosque.
